Harvest

Seed potatoes available from the Diggers Club.

"Sapphire – The most spectacular purple potato with rich purple flesh that maintains its colour when cooked. Ideal or the most striking mashed potato."

The free packet of Diggers seeds gave us a colourful crop of tomatoes - Green stripey tigerellas, Black krim, yellows, lots of cherry tomatoes. I swapped some cherry tomato seedlings for a friends big red Gross Lisse. Some self seeded tomatoes came up near the fence and produced the best crop - they would have been a supermarket bought hydroponic ones.

The Black Krim variety was excellent.
